DeleteHello! I use a 4.0 mm to achieve gauge. But if you crochet loose try a 3.5-3.75 achieve gauge.
DeleteHi, I perchased the macaroon Afganpack. There are 23 skeins. 6 Canada jade , 2 baryl inclusief. Do I have to order 2,3 skeins extra colours for the 6 rnd border? I DO´NT have stash. And what is the best colour then. Of course I will use my blanket colours left overs first.

Hi Marleen, I apologize that I do not have another way of contacting as your comment was left as "Unknown." You are welcome to email me any questions at astri.bowlin@gmail.com.
DeleteThank you so much for purchasing the pattern and the kit! The 23 skeins should be enough to finish the afghan with the pictured border if your gauge matches the gauge in the pattern. When I stated you can use leftover yarn for the border, I meant the yarn leftover from the blanket. If you want a solid color border, I think Canada Jade is best.
