The Isolation Blossom Crochet-A-Long (CAL)
supporting COVID-19 Week 6 Pattern - (Border) is coming along.
Since I had some extra yarn and I wanted a slightly larger blanket,
I added a few more rows than indicated in the pattern.
I also added a picot fan as the last row.
A Picot Fan:
*(dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc ~picot, dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc) at the top of each shell (in the "ch-2 space"),
sc in the sc in between the shells*, repeat from * to * around all four sides including the corners, (Corners are not crocheted differently.)
~picot = ch 3, sl st into 3rd ch from hook
Here are the borders for the blankets I made while writing and testing the pattern:
The borders are slightly different on each one, dependent on how much yarn was left.
My completed "Autumn Isolation Blanket " will be revealed tomorrow on May 2, 2020
and of course, I would really like to see yours!
