Granny Rose - Two-Color Afghan | Test by Sherrie

I am overwhelmed with delight over this beautiful test of the
Granny Rose Two-Color Afghan
from my virtual crocheting friend Sherrie.
 Goodness!!!
I asked for a few squares, a join, and a small border,
and she went above and beyond and made an entire afghan!
Oh my, isn't it beautiful?
It takes my breath away.
It's for a little girl's first birthday.
A gift, that I imagine she will cherish for years to come.

The really cool part is that the roses and leaves are from Sherrie's stash
and she has combined different brands of yarn.

I don't know about you, but I'm always looking for a stash-buster
this time of year so that I can keep at least one New Year's resolution.πŸ˜‰

From the bottom of my heart Sherrie,
thank you so very much and I wish you continued
Warmly,

Astri

P.S. I almost forgot to mention that the pattern can be found in
The Apple Blossom Dreams Etsy Shop
...AND...
I think I know where you can possibly find some yarn. πŸ˜‰
