Some of the granny rose squares for the
Granny Rose Scarf with Bobbly Trim are finished:
All leaf rows are lime.
The roses and first granny row alternate all the other colors except denim.
Denim is the second granny row,
and also the third granny row where the
join-as-you-go technique was used.
The Granny Rose pattern can be purchased here.
Here are six of the squares joined:
And here are the six finished squares photographed with the three coats
and the scarf "mascot". ;-)
The light blue dress coat:
The magenta ski jacket:
and the denim jacket:
Can you guess the color I have in mind for the bobbly trim?
I love thge surrounding denim to bring all the other colours together! Looking good!
ReplyDeleteSorry about the typo: the!
DeleteOoh, that ski jacket really makes the coral tones pop! Such a pretty scarf-in-the-making.
ReplyDeleteBobble colour ... if it were me I'd be tempted to go multicolour. I don't know what you have in mind, but I'm sure it will be lovely!
:)
Oh it looks fantastic Astri and looks like Mr Cow agrees too lol Um as for the bobbly trim maybe the green??
ReplyDeleteLovely and glad I dropped in again xo
Lovely! I really like the blue edging. xx
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and matches everything beautifully.
ReplyDeleteThat looks very pretty with all 3 coats. I'm guessing the bobbly trim will be the 'denim'. :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks so well with all the coats. I'm guessing magenta or possibly lime for the trim.
ReplyDeleteWow, you're quick! My guess for the trim is either the mid purple or lightest blue. At your current rate I think we will find out soon!
ReplyDeleteHappy Days!

It's looking so pretty with all those lovely colours you could wear it with anything, any colour trim would look good I'm thinking, I would be using the colour I have the most of, or purple you know we love purple. :) xx
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. You are so clever.
