Makes for a Dry Creek Bed...
and a sore back. ;-)
And this is how it went down:
Large rocks were brought in for the outside edges of the creek.
Placed by hand...one by one.
The medium were placed next to the large.
A load of small rocks to fill in the middle.
(Fortunately these where wheelbarrowed in.)
Here are some before and after photos of the process:

There are three, but only one is pictured.
It's sort of a "Where's Waldo" photo.

And a few flowers, of course.
It's late in the year to be planting annuals,
but we'll see how it goes for the next couple of months. :-)
We are in hopes that the project will reduce the 3 W's....

ReplyDeleteThat is a whole lot of work to help reduce your work. Very pretty though. A beautiful yard addition.
ReplyDeleteRockman lives up to his name. Does this make you Rockwoman? :D
ReplyDeleteYou told us how much the rocks weighed, but not how much weight you lost hefting them around. A few pounds, I'll bet!
It all looks great.
