Granny Rose Bag

Remember those roses I was fiddling with from this post and this post?

Well, they finally turned into something:
 A granny rose bag!

This bag was based on the Granny Rose Pillow pattern found here.

It has a square bottom:

 It's lined inside:

With a handy dandy sturdy reinforced strap: 

And a decorative and functional pull-cord:
 (in case of an emergency ;-) )

and it all started with this:
Oh happy day when a project is done!

    So pretty. I really like the way that the two different shades of green behind the roses give a real leaf effect. You are right, it is nice to have a finished project all done and ready to use isn't it. xx
