While working on the La Vie en Rose Tutorial:
(a forthcoming pattern)
UPDATE:
(The pattern can be found on Etsy by clicking here.)
I ended up with these two sets of four squares:
So a pincushion was born:
The two squares were joined with a row of sc,
then a row of hdc in pink.
Then a picot stitch in light pink,
from step five of the granny rose pattern here.
Embellished with a flower made from the first two rounds of the granny rose here.
It's that blue orchid again!
Have a Happy Day!
so pretty!

Hi Astri, as you have always done... pretty work! I miss posting my own works lately. Too tired from office work and kitchen chores. Take care!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely pin cushion, Like a jewel on the shelf.
ReplyDeleteWe all need those small things, that we can make and bring as a gift when visiting a friend.
Have a nice Sunday. Summer has turned into early autumn here in Norway and we need socks and longer sleeves, I even used one of my shawls the other night.... I love this season though, with the crisp fresh air in the morning, the cold bedroom at night and to be able to light a candle.
Cute. I saved some little pillows that came in boxes with jewelry and have said I want to make pincushions from them but hasn't happened yet. I need to go dig them out and do something about that. :) Best wishes, Tammy
