Can you guess the W's of this photo?
For more details on this game/contest see this post.
The below Photo #6
is a stunning church (stave church) built sometime around 1200 AD.
It's the Borgun stavkirke in Lærdal, as guessed by:
Monica Gullesen Hansen
Looks like Monica and "Ekte Lykke" are neck in neck for this contest.
Keep 'em coming ladies!

Thank you for playing and good luck !
Gorgeous colours in this one, Astri. You seem to be driving through a tunnel with a harmonious colour scheme!
ReplyDeleteVery good Sandra - I will tell more about the colors on the next post. :-) If you would have taken this photo it would have been incredible!
DeleteThis is the Lærdal tunnel, I think!:-)
ReplyDeleteFun fact: the tunnel is almost 25 km long, and - by own experience - just long enough to breastfeed two hungry twin-babies.....ha, ha! (I mean: what do you do when you've just started driving, and both babies loudly decide that they're hungry? You bring out the food on the go, or get crazy driving through this apparentlu never- ending weird "light-tunnel" listening to desperate babies crying in stereo ....)
Good job! Oh my goodness that is a hilarious fun fact! Were you feeding both babies and driving at the same time?
DeleteI was wondering that, too. Trust the answer is "no, only one task at a time." Linda@Wetcreek Blog
DeleteI love the amazing effect in todays picture, but I love the church in your one from yesterday even more!! xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy! The stave churches are very special.
DeleteJupp, Lærdalstunellen, way too long for me though...
ReplyDeleteThis is fun, wonder what you will show us next?
Have a perfect week end.
It was long! But very fascinating. I can't even imagine how long it took to make.
DeleteDon't think I would enjoy driving 25 km through these "northern lights." Tunnels already creep me out! Now I know I loved Norway the way it was 31 years ago with not so many tunnels. This game is still fun, tho'. Linda@Wetcreek Blog
ReplyDeleteHeehee..."northern lights" - you are very clever, my dear!
DeleteVery cool picture, if slightly spooky-looking. If googling was allowed I would be a lot better off, having no knowledge of Norway...but I'm really enjoying these pictures! :)
ReplyDeleteAw... I think googling is allowed! Thanks for your interest Cogs!
