Nice job ladies!
This charming town was rebuilt after a fire in the early 1900's with the help of Kaiser Wilhelm,
of Germany, in the Art Nouveau style, unlike anything else you may see in Norway.

Such beautiful scenery, Astri. You must have so enjoyed your visit back to your roots!
ReplyDeleteSuch glorious scenery. I could just set and look at those Mts. for hours on end. Such a beautiful spot. So have you posted your HOME town yet?? Hugs Judy
ReplyDeleteNo5 is a fjord. Which one? I have no idea! But I am enjoying your photos. Linda@Wetcreek Blog
ReplyDeleteWow, I won ! Thank you, this will be fun to follow. I think this is in Sogn og Fjordane or Møre og Romsdal, but where I have no clue. Have a nice evening.
ReplyDeleteThis is fun! I know this one as well :-) This is the village Geiranger - one of the most beautiful places in Norway. The fjord and the mountains are just spectacular.
ReplyDeleteI knew I had seen that! Way more buildings than 31 years ago! Linda@Wetcreek Blog
DeleteI am way behind on this game!
ReplyDeleteI don't know where today's photo is, but I will say that it is Wildly beautiful (there's a W for you). I think all your Norske readers will have a definite edge here.
The Art Deco buildings are lovely - I like the definite Scandinavian overtones of those stylised flower details.
