I know this one This is the Norwegian Parliament building ( Stortinget). The flower decorations are a celebration of the 200 year anniversary of the Norwegian Constitution. I guess this photo must have been taken around the Norwegian constitution day, the 17th of May?
"Ekte Lykke" has a most lovely blog.

Thank you for playing and good luck with the next photo. :-)
Where ever you are it is beautiful.

Wahlenbergbreen glacier? We visited Norway 31 years ago, and I remember how beautiful it was in your country. We traveled on a two laned road through the mountains. I heard there are many tunnels on that highway now. My guess of the glacier is just that--a guess! Hugs, Linda@Wetcreek Blog
ReplyDeleteThat's a great guess, but unfortunately incorrect. I had never heard of Wahlenbergbreen glacier so I looked it up. Very beautiful! I bet your trip was incredible - I hope you can go back. :-)
DeleteWhat a beautiful place Astri, I'm sorry I won't be much good at guessing but I am enjoying the photo's. :)
ReplyDeleteI know...you're visiting Arendelle! ;) I'm so glad you got to go to Norway, it sounds like an amazing time!
ReplyDeleteHaha - Arendal - that's so cute C! I love "Frozen" almost as much as you do!
DeleteThank you so much for the gracious award. Warms my heart! You have done a great job with your blog and I am humbled and flattered to think I had anything to do with it. :-)
How beautiful Norway is, Astri! It's just how I imagined it!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure that I am clever enough for this, but I can say that it is a truly beautiful photograph and I look forward to seeing more of your pictures! xx
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for linking to my blog, Astri! I love your Norway photos, and the first one I knew right away, since I, believe it or not, took the exact same photo that very same day!!! How amazing is that!? I was in Oslo for a meeting and passed by the parliament as they were preparing for the big celebration, and the flowers were so beautiful! . I will have a go at this one too: I think this must be Aurlandsfjorden in Sogn, and the village you see below is probably Aurland?? Another option is the Hardangerfjord, but this looks more like Sogn to me...
ReplyDeleteNot only are you lucky but you are smart too! Correct again!
DeleteWhat a strange coincidence to be in the same place at the same time. It truly is a small world. :-)
