The NVO cleaned out the remaining flower beds this weekend,
and look what he rescued:
A few remaining bachelor buttons from last summer!
These were the flowers grown from the 4/$1 seed packets from the Dollar Store wrapped up on this post.
Boy, talk about a lot of bang for the buck!
And check out the test tube vase...just perfect for my scientist hubby!
I miss you, Summer, but we will see you next year. :-)
OK, it's time to get back to the season at hand before it's gone. ;-)
Beautiful flowers!

Love the blue of those flowers - what a lovely reminder of both the summer that's gone and the one to come! They look wonderful in those test tube vases too! E x
ReplyDeleteThey are beauties. We call them corn flowers here in the UK but I like your name, stirs images of rather lovely men in jackets with a little blue flower. Jo x
ReplyDeletePretty flowers - you definitely got your monies worth. :)
ReplyDeleteI love these flowers. I have had mixed success planting them from seed but when they do grow, I have tons of them.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Astri I can't believe they have lasted this long, I have a few brave roses blooming but now that the frosts have come, they will soon be gone too. :)
