Oh no! - the kitchen island always seems to be the man's depository. Haha. Same thing goes on here in addition to a phone, iPod, mechanical pencil, Norwegian dictionary and this morning....a fishing map :-)
Astri this photo bought a tear to my eye as well as many happy memories. Before my darling husband became ill he was a mountaineer and his boots were always around the house. How I miss them. Thank you for a lovely post Astri. Don't forget to enter my giveaway Astri, I would love you and all your followers to take part. Have a fabulous Monday Lots of love Dorothy :-)xxxxxxx
Hi Astri! So lovely to meet you - Thank you for your kind comment on my post. I love your blog. Apart from it being so pretty, it's also so positive and creative and there is such a wonderful community that meets around it! I've added you to my blog feeds so that I can follow you :) This photo really speaks volumes. It's funny how special someone's shoes are. I guess they are very personal things because they are worn so often. This post is simple but so meaningful. I think it's true for me too! Thank you for sharing it! ♡
That's a great photo!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kim - it's always a nice reminder to that he's home. :-)
DeleteMy hubby takes everything out of his pockets and deposits it on the kitchen island!
