Tante i Norge

Fra min Tante i Norge
A cross-stitched heirloom,
made by my Tante Alfhild (changed - Sonja figured it out the correct spelling) in Norway.
Thoughtfully given to me and delivered by min Mor from Norway,
during a visit to the USA.
This scene is so "Norway" to me.
It did not sit long before it was framed and placed.

This much I know is true:
I will never run out of sentimental tid-bits that I love!
I will never run out of things to blog about!

  4. Beautiful. My son took a Norwegian class in college his freshman year and loved it. He ended up studying/traveling in Norway for a semester and graduating with a double major in Norwegian and Computer Science.

  9. Eit noko rart namn på denne tanta di;) Kan det vere tante Alfhild/Alvhild?
    Dette er eit litt spesielt broderi som aldri hadde kome opp på veggen hos meg, men vi er jo så forskjellige. Eg ville ha kalla det styggfint, for å vere heilt ærlig;)
