That Linda over at Linda's Crafty Corner has really done it again!
She has produced a pattern/tutorial for a very clever market bag/spring tote:
I was even able to follow her step by step instructions.
She makes it so simple.
Here's the first one I made:
She makes it so simple.
Here's the first one I made:
The base of the bag is a handy dandy holder for the bag, as well.
And it's strong and stretches to hold a lot of stuff!
And the best part is that I think it qualifies for a stash-buster,
since the bag was made from the Tilda cotton yarn from this post,
that from what I understand, has now become stash. ;-)
In any case, this post has been linked up here:
Oh and I made another one too,
this time in turquoise:
They really hold a lot!
(That's a watermelon and a pineapple, in addition to the other fruit, in there!)
They could have even handled more.
And they conveniently fit in your purse.
(before they are filled. ;-) )
Thank you Linda!
The tissue covers spring totes rock!
They're pretty nice bags - the colors are so nice and Springy. :)

ReplyDeleteGreat tutorial think I will give it a shot for the Farmer's Market bag I need. A bonus our local Walmart had Peaches and cream cotton on sale this week for $1.00 so I stocked up on some great summery colors! Thanks for sharing the link Astri!
ReplyDeleteHa! The mysterious objects from Linda's posts - how pretty they turned out. (Even if they aren't a bridal tissue cover with roses on the skirt....) ;)
