The leaves for the granny rose afghan
have been completed:
There are 120 of them.
30 of each color.
It is nothing short of a miracle.
My hand hurts, hehe.
The 108 turned back into the original 120 after my friend "K" rescued me.
She read in this post, that I had run out of yarn to make all 120 so I changed to 108.
I simply did not want to buy more yarn to make just a few roses.
The stash would not have welcomed these newcomers.
I feared for them.
She was right there with yarn from her stash that was the exact yarn I needed.
A friend indeed!
Uh oh, I was a friend in need. I hope she needs me one day.
I keep trying to pawn off some stash to her, but she will not have it. hehe.
I did get her to finally take the soft white, though.
She likes soft-warm-sweet white, and I like harsh-intense- bright white.
An indication of personalities, perhaps. ;-)
Thank goodness for "K'.
