Following my own CAL Week #1 & 2

Week #1:
 Gather Supplies
(and I had to make a few squares to come up with the right color combinations, too.)
Orange, Yellow, Turquoise, and Hot Pink Roses
Green Leaves
Aqua, White, and Pale Violet Granny Row
With an added single crochet row of red
I think they will be joined by red as well.
(I have some weird thing going on where red and/or white must be included in everything!)
See this link for more on gathering supplies.

Week #2
The Rose
Lots of roses!!!
I'm thinking 120...
(divisible by 4 for the 4 colors and 3 for the 3 different granny row colors)
but then again...it might be based on how much yarn of each color I have...
that bridge will be crossed when I come upon it. :-)
See this link for photo tutorial of how to make the rose...complete with  video.
And if you want to skip ahead, see the side bar for Week 3, 4 and 5.

In hopes that you are having a colorful holiday season!!!

  5. Dang, you've got Spanish AND Portuguese! I can't use French - that's reserved for Créations Manuelles. So I'll have to stick with English, and say that those roses are a knockout colour combo. So cheerful and bright!

  8. 120 stykker.

  13. I have finished my Afghan and my secret sister loved it! But I don't know how to post a picture of it here. Thank you again for the pattern. I joined all my squares Using the flat braid join. Turned out so pretty! I almost kept it for myself!
