Everything is Coming Up Roses

A Dozen White Roses
This pillow comes from the squares that were hidden in the canister from this post:
I'm way over due for writing the pattern for this rose granny square. Thank you to all of you that have been so patient. In my mind, it's been in the works for over a year and it's high time that I finally do it. I was thinking it would be fun to do a "Crochet-a-long".
What do you think? Would you be interested?

Here are a couple projects from last year made with the rose granny squares:

WHITE ROSE PILLOW

I'm thinking about four or five posts with pattern and tutorial.  The project could be a dozen rose granny squares for a pillow, then perhaps those with lots of gusto could go for an afghan...I may be all afghaned out. :-) I've been playing around with some fun colors, but can't decide. Any color suggestions? So the goal is to get this started on the first day of spring (March 20th) and then post the next step every Tuesday until we are done! Roses probably won't be blooming in our geographical region by then; however, the promise will be there with the warmer days. :-)

Stay tuned for lots of fun while we
