So what does one do with watermelon colored birthday boots?
Crochet a matching scarf, of course. :-)
So how does one make one of these?
First:
Take the boots to Michael's (or wherever you may have a coupon) and find a coordinating yarn.
(This yarn is called "Tangerine Twists" - I like that we are staying with the fruits here.)
Second:
Visit my friend Sue's blog and follow her "Flowering Clematis" pattern and tutorial.
You will love it!
I love it so much that this is not the first one I made.
Click here if you would like to see the"Icy Blue" version that I have been wearing around everywhere in spite of our lack of winter here in Utah. :-)
That's it - just two steps!
Coole Schuhe & sehr schöner Schal!;O)

Perfect match. Love that scarf. Pattern sounds like I would need to try and try again before I might get it right. I'm pathetic at getting it right the first time. Have a fabulous Friday. Tammy
ReplyDeleteHola Astri que lindos colores y muy delicada tu bufanda buen resultado un beso Sandra.
ReplyDeleteThank you! It's all about carrying around boots(I suppose I could have worn them) in the yarn store to find the right match, haha.
ReplyDeleteThe pattern is a actually very easy, Sue, makes it that way. :-)
I thought that scarf looked familiar...as soon as I was able to look at it, that is, after staring at and drooling enviously over those GORGEOUS boots! They are wonderful! Lucky, lucky you. And Happy Birthday (whenever it was).
