Viking Baby Hat for "E" #3

ARRIVAL
There are a lot of "arrivals" associated
 with my place of employment,
as that is the business we are in.

But, it's especially exciting when one of our own has an "arrival".
This is for newborn baby "E", a fourth generation Norwegian!
"E" was born Monday, January 9th, 2012.
How about that viking ship prop?
I purchased this pattern from Tara at the Easy Makes Me Happy Blog.
Worth every penny plus more!
I used the Bernat Alpaca blend in "peony" with a size "G" hook for the hat and "natural" with a size"F" for horns.
As per my modus operandi, I have made several of these, click here for the hat made for the NVO and click here for hats for other members of the famila.
(Oh and BTW this hat is a "chick magnet" for the gentlemen. I will be with the NVO and folks will swoon over the hat and him. I become completely invisible, which I really don't mind, but one day a gal completely ignored me and asked HIM if he made it. Go figure???)

A great big congratulations to "E3's" parents from
Apple Blossom Dreams!

  3. SO cute! And the prop as well. The hat detailing is perfect. All she needs now is a little chest-shield (or perhaps something like the getup Bugs Bunny wears in "What's Opera, Doc?").
