Vanity Knobs
are now rosemåled.
Remember this from this post?
Well...now it's this.
Additionally...
new knobs added to the cabinets...
a cabinet that opens to this:
with a few more matching "organizers" since last we met.
I was even on a search for hairspray in a red container. hehe.
(My hair is not "fat" but I want it to be.
I wonder if this hairspray will work?
It might if it contains high fructose corn syrup
and trans fats and I use much too much of it.)
I also wonder if this welcoming spot will motivate me to get ready for work in the mornings, especially now that the days are getting shorter and
Mr. Sun is not there to join in the "getting ready" party?
Oh, and I forgot to tell you...
new knobs to match the nightstands, as well. :-)
At all costs, everything must match!
BUT, this project did not cost much, at all,
since the red knobs were recycled from an old black armoire:

Until next time, my friends...
So funny the name Fat Hair for a spray. The knobs are really lovely.
ReplyDeleteLet us know how the hairspray works. My hair could use a little expansion. Too bad I can't transplant some size from my thighs...
ReplyDeleteThe knobs are indeed lovely. What kind of paint do you use?
I have a feeling the NVO had better look out or he'll find himself rosemåled too.
Thighs and hips for sure. That would be some "Fat Hair".
ReplyDeletePaints are Jo Sonja's acrylics in a tube that were recommended at our rosemaling camp, but I think that the acrylic paints from the craft store would be fine. The knobs were first sprayed with regular old spray paint.
Now I know why the NVO hides when I pull out the rosemåling supplies. ;-)
one word : M A R V E L O U S !!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the knobs. They are beautiful. I may do some myself.
