A Flower Scarf For The Youngest One as Per Her Request
Whenever I think I have found the perfect project to make for one of the children and I think they are going to love it, it doesn't ever really end up being the case. (I may recall something similar from my childhood. Awwwwww...thanks for the effort Mom, that neon pink jacket was truly beautiful, I just didn't think so at the time. ;-) )
One evening last Winter I asked #6 to search the Internet for something she would like me to make for her; something she would actually like and wear and this is the result of what she found:

She searched "crocheted flower scarf" in Google images which led to this pattern from a post in 2005 on the Needlebook Blogspot. The colors and the length were her choice, as well.
I got to choose the yarn: Encore Worsted 75% Acrylic 25% Wool.

This scarf was started last Winter and now it's mid-Spring (not exactly scarf season) and it's finally finished; however, I get WAY too excited about these things. It would be torture for me to hold the gift until the Autumn so a mid-Spring gift it will be...thank goodness it's raining today. ;-)
